Cooperation Activities of PT Ghaly Roelies Indonesia

  1. Cooperation activities with Educational Institutions:
    – Politeknik Negeri Lampung
    Census of coffee plants, census on the influence of microghaly technology on shading (upper, middle, and lower
    cover), and observation of the impact of technology on organic gondrong coffee.

    – Universitas Lampung
    Research site for thesis and dissertation preparation for undergraduate and graduate students on microghaly
    technology, venue for student internships, guest speaker for general lectures in the Agricultural Engineering
    and Agribusiness department.

    – Institut Teknologi Sumatera
    Guest speaker for general lectures in the Biotechnology department.

    – Universitas Gajah Mada
    Conducting discussions on the development of organic areas (together with the Way Kanan District Government).

    – Institut Pertanian Bogor
    Research on agriculture in collaboration with the Department of Forest Resource Conservation and Ecotourism,
    Faculty of Forestry IPB. The research results include theses and dissertations by students on commodities such
    as rice, aren, and palm oil.

    – SMK Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan
    Collaboration for fieldwork practice between educational institutions and local industries as a means for
    students of SMK Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan to learn and become familiar with the working world.

  2. Cooperation Activities with Extension Institutions:
    – AEKI Lampung Barat
    Establishing a research garden in collaboration between AEKI and PT. Ghaly Roelies Indonesia, facilitating a
    site and a garden for training coffee farmers from various regions, and enabling the sale and purchase of
    organic coffee produced from joint research with AEKI.

    – PERHIPTANI
    Partnering for the socialization and development of organic coffee cultivation using microghaly technology,
    particularly focusing on training community forest coffee farmers.

    – Lembaga Masyarakat Desa Hutan (LMDH)
    Related to the management of community forest land for the development of arabica coffee in the Cililin
    District, West Bandung Regency.

  3. Cooperation Activities with Government Institutions:
    – Pemerintah Kabupaten Way Kanan
    Development of Organic Areas and planting of organic rice.

    – Dinas Perkebunan Kabupaten Way Kanan
    Training for coffee farmers (in collaboration with Bank Indonesia, AEKI, PERHIPTANI) on organic coffee
    cultivation.

    – UPID KPH Dinas Kehutanan Kabupaten Way Kanan
    Training for community forest coffee farmers on organic coffee cultivation.

    – Dinas Perkebunan Kabupaten Lampung Barat
    Conducting socialization on the cultivation of gondrong coffee and chemical-free organic coffee with high
    productivity.
